The world is inside the rock
The Table
A table inside
the mountain
Carved from a single seam of stone, set beneath a wall of light. Dinners that begin at dusk and never feel the cold.
The Descent
Deeper into
the rock
Every step takes you further from the world above. The deeper you go, the more the mountain holds you.
Crafted by nature, perfected by design
Why carve a home
into a mountain?
Because what is taken away can never be repeated. Every surface here was found, not built — the rock holds the warmth of a fire and the silence of a thousand years in equal measure.
Dry-stacked grey granite
Quarried from the mountain it is carved into.
Honed dark stone + brass
Cold surfaces warmed by hand-aged metal.
Charred timber + wool
Fire-blackened beams, deep high-pile floors.
The Spa
Warm water,
cold stone
A thermal bath cut into the bedrock, steam rising against a single glass slot to the peak. Inside the mountain, still entirely alpine.
Location
Deep inside,
still alpine
The only room that looks out — a single glass slot framing the peak.
The Water Hall
A subterranean cold plunge cut into the bedrock — black water beneath honed stone, lit only by the fire it reflects.

The Hot Spring
A thermal pool fed warm from within the mountain — steam off black stone, candlelight, and the cold held outside.

The Sauna
Dark stone and timber, heat drawn from a single bed of mountain rock — the deepest warm room in the residence.

The Cinema
A carved screening room that holds the dark completely. The mountain makes its own silence.

The Media Lounge
Soft light, deep wool, the fire never far — the room you never quite leave.

In Fragments
Made by hand, from the mountain.
Every surface quarried, carved, and finished on site — granite, timber, brass, and wool.
